Ratification of the Agreement will enable the Parties to render mutual legal assistance concerning extradition of convicts for serving sentences in the State of their citizenship. Implementation of the Agreement will facilitate achievement of one of the goals of criminal punishment social rehabilitation of the convicts.
The Agreement includes the list of documents and information required to settle the issue on extradition.
Pursuant to the Agreement, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine (Ukraine) and the Central Public Committee on Justice (the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya) are authorized to implement the said Agreement.
A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No.0131.
